Placement Supervisor definition

Placement Supervisor means a preceptor, placement supervisor, placement advisor, site supervisor, practicum supervisor, field instructor or educational coordinator, as the case may be;
Placement Supervisor shall be [name and contact details of placement supervisor, who is a staff member of the Placement Organisation supervising the student while on placement, including his/her position, email and telephone].
Placement Supervisor means a Faculty member or other person who possesses the qualifications prescribed by RDC;

Examples of Placement Supervisor in a sentence

  • The Placement Coordinator, Placement Supervisor, and Placement Mentor will determine if the proposed placement meets the academic requirements of the module.

  • The student is evaluated by the Placement Supervisor as well as by the Director of Field Education.

  • Arrange a mid-placement meeting with the Placement Supervisor to receive feedback and request that the Declaration of Placement Attendance & Formative Assessment is completed prior to a mid-placement tutorial with their University Placement Tutor (UPT).

  • Placement Supervisors and Mentors will be provided with a Handbook and the contact details of the Placement Supervisor, the Placement Coordinator, and the Head of Faculty, in case of any issues.

  • Mid-way through the placement students arrange to meet with their Placement Supervisor to discuss progress and receive feedback.

  • Students should ask their Placement Supervisor to complete their Declaration of Placement Attendance & Formative Assessment in anticipation of the student’s mid- placement review with their UPT.

  • Once the Field Placement Supervisor Application (Appendix S) has been approved by the Clinic Director, the Clinic Director will let the therapist intern and site supervisor know to proceed.
