Pharmacy Assistant definition

Pharmacy Assistant means an employee in a pharmacy in manual or technical work ancillary to that of a registered pharmacist, but who is not a registered pharmacist, pharmacy technician, intern pharmacist, or trainee pharmacy technician, and any employee substantially employed as one of the aforementioned who may from time to time use different titles.
Pharmacy Assistant means a person registered by the commission to perform limited functions in the pharmacy (RCW 18.64A.010(7)).
Pharmacy Assistant means a person registered as such under Part III;

Examples of Pharmacy Assistant in a sentence

  • Employees who are hired into the classification of Meat Cutter or Pharmacy Assistant shall have a probationary period of four hundred (400) hours.

  • No employee shall be reduced in their rate of pay as a result of accepting a Head Postal Clerk or Pharmacy Assistant position.

  • Once these Employees move to the part time Grid A Pharmacy Assistant Wage Scale listed below, they shall receive the same off-scale increases as outlined for Grid A in Section 10.04 (D).

  • When a Pharmacy Assistant position is posted the senior applicant must possess the required qualifications and ability to perform the normal duties of the job.

  • Employees hired externally or from within the store must also pass the Standardized Pharmacy Assessment in order to work as a Pharmacy Assistant.
