PCB wastes definition

PCB wastes means PCB liquid, PCB solid and PCB equipment that have been taken out of service for the purpose of treatment, recycling, reuse or disposal or for the purpose of storage prior to treatment, recycling, reuse or disposal;
PCB wastes means those polychlorinated byphenyls or PCB items subject to regulation under 40 CFR Part 761.

Examples of PCB wastes in a sentence

  • Pursuant to TSCA Section 6(e) and 40 CFR § 761.77(c), the EPA is authorized to issue TSCA PCB Coordinated Approvals based on existing state permits or enforcement and decision documents which exercise control over PCB wastes.
