Outage Event definition

Outage Event means where:
Outage Event means, without prejudice to Clause 2.6.2, any breakdown or failure of, or any other event or occurrence, in each case originating from, the Xxxxx Interconnector (which expression shall, for the purposes of this definition only, exclude the Xxxxx Interconnector’s connections to the SP System and the NIE System);
Outage Event means any outage or other loss of the Services, other than any outage that (i) is not reported by DISTRICT to CONTRACTOR within five (5) days of occurrence; (ii) is less than one (1) hour in duration; (iii) is attributable to CONTRACTOR's scheduled fiber connection maintenance, which in no event shall include substitutions to or modifications of the Infrastructure described in paragraph 3.f., below, (iv) is due to failure or outage of related telephone circuits (whether ordered by CONTRACTOR or DISTRICT), (v) results from DISTRICT’s applications, equipment or facilities, (vi) results from any act or omission of DISTRICT or any user of DISTRICT’s equipment or account, or (vii) is due to or occasioned by any riots, wars, acts of enemies, national emergency, acts of vandalism, strikes, floods, fires, hurricanes, tornados, acts of God, or by any other cause not within the control of CONTRACTOR that by the exercise of reasonable diligence CONTRACTOR is unable to prevent, (viii) results from CONTRACTOR not having been granted site access by the DISTRICT, or (ix) results from DISTRICT’s unauthorized use of the Services.

Examples of Outage Event in a sentence

  • Following 90 days after the initiation of the Forced Outage Event, QFCP Generator shall be entitled to 70% of the disbursements per MWH of reduction in output to which the QFCP Generator would have been entitled but for the Forced Outage Event in the event that QFCP Generator has provided the Company with certification, pursuant to the PJM GATTS system or successor system, that it has acquired and retired Forced Outage Replacement RECs as set forth in Section K.

  • For each megawatt-hour of output which would have been generated but for a Forced Outage Event, QFCP Generator shall, at its sole expense, use commercially reasonable efforts to acquire and retire one Forced Outage Replacement REC.

  • The duration of payments by the Company under Section K (2) above resulting from any Force Majeure Event other than a Forced Outage Event shall in no event exceed 178 days for each Force Majeure Event.

  • During a Forced Outage Event, the Company will continue to receive the full reduction in renewable portfolio standards requirements that would have been provided but for the Forced Outage Event.

  • With respect to a Force Majeure Event resulting from a Forced Outage Event that prevents the QFCP Generator from supplying output from the Facility, there shall be no disbursement to QFCP Generator for the first 90 days of such event and any such event shall no longer be considered to be a Force Majeure Event after the earlier of (i) the date of its remedy or (ii) 5:00 p.m. eastern standard time on July 1, 2025.

  • Subject to § 6.4 (Meter Outage Event), readings of the Metering Device shall be conclusive as to the amount of output delivered to the Delivery Point.

  • The utility shall record each Outage Event as planned or unplanned and shall identify the point of origination such as generation facility, transmission line, transmission substation equipment, or distribution equipment.

  • For all output for which QFCP Generator, despite using commercially reasonable efforts, is unable to acquire and retire Forced Outage Replacement RECs as set forth in Sections K (5) a and b above during a Forced Outage Event (hereinafter a “Replacement REC Shortfall”), the Company shall collect from its customers and disburse to the QFCP Generator 55% of the disbursements per MWH of reduction in output to which the QFCP Generator would have been entitled but for the Forced Outage Event.

  • The date and time of the Outage Event and the number of Service Interruptions for the Outage Event shall also be recorded.

  • The time interval, in minutes, between the time when a utility first becomes aware of an Outage Event and the time of restoration of service to the last retail customer affected by that Outage Event.


More Definitions of Outage Event

Outage Event means any act or omission of Supplier that results in a complete loss of Service and for which no workaround exists; provided, however, that losses of Services that are caused in full or in part by AT&T, any third party, or weather events do not constitute Outage Events.
Outage Event shall be defined by reference to the tables 1 and 2 in paragraph 6 below, dependant on the number of participants in the affected market and the time period for which the Outage Event endures;
Outage Event means any outage or other loss of the Services, other than any outage that (i) is not reported by SCH to MNW within five (5) days of occurrence, (ii) is less than one (1) hour in duration, (iii) is attributable to MNW’s scheduled network maintenance, (iv) is attributable to failure or outage of related telephone circuits (whether ordered by MNW or SCH), (v) results from SCH’s applications, equipment or facilities, (vi) results from any act or omission of SCH or any user of SCH’s equipment or account, or (vii) is due to or occasioned by any riots, wars, acts of enemies, national emergency, acts of vandalism, strikes, floods, fires, hurricanes, tornados, acts of God, or by any other cause not within the control of MNW that by the exercise of reasonable diligence MNW is unable to prevent, (viii) results from MNW not having been granted site access by the SCH, or (ix) results from SCH’S unauthorized use of equipment or the Services.

Related to Outage Event

  • Co-occurring disorder (COD) means any combination of mental health symptoms and substance use disorder symptoms or diagnoses that affect a consumer and are typically determined by the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

  • Interruption Period shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5 hereof.

  • Outage has the meaning set forth in the CAISO Tariff.

  • PAGA Period means the period from June 25, 2020 through December 31, 2022.

  • Rectification Period means the period of time set out in Section 4.3 of this RFP during which a Proponent will be permitted to rectify its Proposal to satisfy the mandatory submission requirements of this RFP.

  • PEA Period means the period commencing at 9:30 a.m., Eastern time, on the fifth (5th) Business Day immediately prior to the filing of any post-effective amendment to the Registration Statement (as defined herein) or New Registration Statement (as such term is defined in the Registration Rights Agreement), and ending at 9:30 a.m., Eastern time, on the Business Day immediately following, the effective date of any post-effective amendment to the Registration Statement (as defined herein) or New Registration Statement (as such term is defined in the Registration Rights Agreement).

  • SOFR Index Cessation Event means the occurrence of one or more of the following events:

  • Excused Outage means any disruption to or unavailability of Services caused by or due to (i) Scheduled Maintenance,

  • Service Failure means a failure by the Contractor to provide the Services in accordance with any individual service level described above (measured on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis)

  • Clean-Up Period has the meaning specified in Section 8.02(b).

  • Expected week of childbirth means the week, starting on a Sunday, during which the mother's doctor or midwife expects her to give birth.

  • Curtailment Period means the period of time during which Seller reduces generation from the Project, pursuant to a Curtailment Order. The Curtailment Period shall be inclusive of the time required for the Project to ramp down and ramp up; provided that such time periods to ramp down and ramp up shall be consistent with the Ramp Rate designated in the Cover Sheet.

  • Ramp Period The Ramp Period shall begin on the Effective Date and continue for a period of 3 months following the Effective Date. Commencing with the Effective Date and at all times during the Ramp Period thereafter, Customer will receive the rates, discounts, charges and credits set forth herein and will not be subject to the AVC. Annual Volume Commitment (“AVC”): $360,000 in Total Service Charges (“AVC”) during each contract year of the Term (following the expiration of the Ramp Period).

  • SOFR Index Cessation Date means, in respect of a SOFR Index Cessation Event, the date on which the FRBNY (or any successor administrator of the SOFR), ceases to publish the SOFR, or the date as of which the SOFR may no longer be used.

  • Ramp-Up Period means the period from and including the Effective Date to, but excluding, September 23, 2016.

  • Completion Period means the period starting from the date of issue of "Order" and required to complete the work in all respect.

  • OBFR Index Cessation Event means the occurrence of one or more of the following events:

  • €STR Index Cessation Event means the occurrence of one or more of the following events, as determined by the Issuer and notified by the Issuer to the Calculation Agent:

  • Co-occurring disorder specialist means an individual

  • Generator Planned Outage means the scheduled removal from service, in whole or in part, of a generating unit for inspection, maintenance or repair with the approval of the Office of the Interconnection in accordance with the PJM Manuals.

  • Planned Outage means the removal of equipment from service availability for inspection and/or general overhaul of one or more major equipment groups. To qualify as a Planned Outage, the maintenance (a) must actually be conducted during the Planned Outage, and in Seller’s sole discretion must be of the type that is necessary to reliably maintain the Project, (b) cannot be reasonably conducted during Project operations, and (c) causes the generation level of the Project to be reduced by at least ten percent (10%) of the Contract Capacity.

  • Peak Period means the time between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. (April through September) or between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. (October through March) on all days except Saturdays and Sundays, which daily time period will be subject to change from time to time at the Company's option. This change would occur after no less than ten (10) days notice has been given to all Customers who would be affected, and to the Commission.

  • Commissioning Period means, with respect to each Subproject, the period commencing upon the first delivery of Feed Gas to the Subproject in accordance with Sections 4.8 and 11.1 of the Agreement continuing through achievement of RFSU, commissioning, Start Up, Performance Testing and achievement of Substantial Completion for such Subproject.

  • Reference evapotranspiration or “ETo” means a standard measurement of environmental parameters which affect the water use of plants. ETo is given expressed in inches per day, month, or year as represented in Appendix C of these Guidelines, and is an estimate of the evapotranspiration of a large field of four to seven-inch tall, cool-season grass that is well watered. Reference evapotranspiration is used as the basis of determining the Maximum Applied Water Allowances.

  • OBFR Index Cessation Date means, in respect of an OBFR Index Cessation Event, the date on which the FRBNY (or any successor administrator of the OBFR), ceases to publish the OBFR, or the date as of which the OBFR may no longer be used.

  • Mid-Month Receipt Period With respect to each Distribution Date, the one month period beginning on the Determination Date (or, in the case of the first Distribution Date, from and including the Cut-Off-Date) occurring in the calendar month preceding the month in which such Distribution Date occurs and ending on the day preceding the Determination Date immediately preceding such Distribution Date.
