Optional Training definition

Optional Training means all discretional training that is conducted at the squadron at no cost to the CF. Monies and other resources required to conduct this training will be provided by local Squadron Sponsors, Squadron Sponsoring Committees or by the Provincial Committee of the League.
Optional Training means any online course and remote consulting sessions provided via teleconference or videoconference by Myndlift to Practitioners (whether in a one a one-on-one format or a group format) which covers matters such as how to develop a neurofeedback practice and how to use the Myndlift Service.

Examples of Optional Training in a sentence

  • Required and Optional Training will be identified in writing by the Supervisor as Required or Optional prior to an Employee delivering or attending the Required or Optional Training, failing which, it shall be considered Optional Training for the purposes of this Article 28.

  • New section C on Optional Training that applicable training or mentorship programs be made available and that reimbursements of up to $500 per fiscal year for participation in educational/training programs if approved.

  • An Employee who delivers or attends Optional Training shall have no entitlement to any additional payment associated with the Optional Training; however, the Supervisor may, at their discretion, subsidize the costs associated with Optional Training.

  • Travel time will be credited for Required Training and, at the discretion of the Supervisor, may be credited for Optional Training, in accordance with the Letter of Understanding on Travel Time.

  • Optional Training is any form of training or professional or educational development initiative that an Employee may deliver or attend at her option, including but not limited to, conferences, seminars, workshops and courses.

  • Optional Training – training programs that are deemed by the Employer to be beneficial to Employees, but are not mandatory.

  • An Employee who delivers or attends Required or Optional Training shall be paid her regular wages for attendance at the Required or Optional Training during her working hours.

  • Training shall be considered in two categories as listed below: Mandatory Training Optional Training Mandatory training shall be defined as training necessary to retain one's job as mandated by a state agency or department head.

  • For Optional Training – If the total time including travel exceeds the scheduled hours of work in that day, travel time will not be paid for optional training, it will be on the employees’ own time.

  • Recreational trail means a trail, lane, path, road, or other right of way that because of its scenic, wild, or topographical nature, has as its primary purpose recreational use of the trail itself.

  • Online Training means prerecorded training delivered virtually e.g. SAP e-learning.
