Busy Line Verification (BLV means a service whereby an End User requests an operator to confirm the busy status of a line.
Verification means the process of evaluating whether the measured or calculated output of an analyser, flow-measuring instrument, sensor or signal agrees with a reference signal within one or more predetermined thresholds for acceptance.
Validation means the review of information, data, and procedures to determine the extent to which they are accurate, reliable, and free from bias and in accord with standards for data collection and analysis (42 CFR 438.320).
Testing means that element of inspection that determines the properties or elements, including functional operation of materials, equipment, or their components, by the application of established scientific principles and procedures.
POS means point of sale.
FedRAMP means the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (see www.fedramp.gov), which is an assessment and authorization process that federal government agencies have been directed to use to ensure security is in place when accessing Cloud computing products and services.
freight forwarding services means the activity consisting of organising and monitoring shipment operations on behalf of shippers, through the acquisition of transport and related services, preparation of documentation and provision of business information.
End Users means a Third Party residence or business that subscribes to Telecommunications Services provided by any of the Parties at retail. As used herein, the term “End User(s)” does not include any of the Parties to this Agreement with respect to any item or service obtained under this Agreement.
End User means any person or entity (e.g., contractor, contractor’s employee, business associate, subcontractor, other downstream user, etc.) that receives DHHS data or derivative data in accordance with the terms of this Contract.
Interface means the mixture occurring in pipeline operations between adjoining batches having similar or dissimilar physical characteristics.
Query means a message that represents a request to a Database for information.
Screening means the evaluation process used to identify an individual's ability to perform activities of daily living and address health and safety concerns.
ACH Network means the funds transfer system, governed by the NACHA Rules, that provides funds transfer services to participating financial institutions.
Log means the up-to-date log that is used to track all Modifications to the Facility since the date of this Certificate as required by the Documentation Requirements conditions of this Certificate.
Test means such test as is prescribed by the particulars or considered necessary by the Inspecting Officer whether performed or made by the Inspecting Officer or any agency acting under the direction of the Inspecting Officer;
Verification Report means the verification report referenced in Article V hereof relating to the sufficiency of money and obligations deposited in the Escrow Fund to be applied in accordance with the Escrow Agreement.
Psychophysiological Testing means an evaluation of the interrelationships between the nervous system and other bodily organs and behavior.
Routine use means the disclosure of a record without the consent of the subject or subjects, for a purpose which is compatible with the purpose for which the record was collected. It includes disclosures required to be made by statute other than the public records law, Iowa Code chapter 22.
End User Customer means a third party retail Customer that subscribes to a Telecommunications Service provided by either of the Parties or by another Carrier or by two (2) or more Carriers.
User means a person, department or other administrative unit of the City authorized by the Contract Administrator to order Work under this Contract;
Recalibration means the adjustment of all DRG weights to reflect changes in relative resource consumption.
processing aid means any substance not consumed as a food ingredient by itself, intentionally used in the processing of raw materials, foods or their ingredients, to fulfil a certain technological purpose during treatment or processing and which may result in the unintentional but technically unavoidable presence of residues of the substance or its derivatives in the final product, provided that these residues do not present any health risk and do not have any technological effect on the finished product;
Provider network means a health service intermediary other than an MCO that facilitates transactions between medical providers and insurers through a series of contractual arrangements.
Demonstration means the showing by actual use of equipment or procedures.
Acceptance Testing means testing as described in a Purchase Order to be performed by MSP to determine that deliverable(s) meet the Acceptance Criteria.
Technician means an individual determined to be qualified to remove or process parts by an appropriate organization that is licensed, accredited, or regulated under federal or state law. The term includes an enucleator.
