Off-Shift definition

Off-Shift means all time that is not On-Shift.
Off-Shift means all hours outside of Prime Shift.
Off-Shift means holidays and hours outside coverage hours identified for the level of Maintenance and Support obtained under this Agreement.

  • Before leaving his/her regular employment duties on behalf of the Company to attend to his/her Union duties as described in Article 7(4), the Off-Shift Union Representative must obtain the permission of his/her Supervisor to do so.

  • Employees desiring to work four (4) hour hold-over or (four) 4 hour in-early shall make their wishes known to Management by listing their names in the 4 Hour Off-Shift Book, indicating dates and shift(s) available.

Related to Off-Shift

  • Day Shift means a shift which commences at or after 6.00 am and before 10.00 am.

  • Night Shift means any shift finishing after midnight and at or before 8.00 a.m.

  • Shift means the period of scheduled straight-time working hours on a scheduled workday where the hours scheduled are consecutive except for the meal period.

  • Off-Peak Hours means those hours which are not On-Peak Hours.

  • Afternoon shift means any shift finishing after 6.00pm and at or before midnight.

  • Split shift means a work schedule, which is interrupted by non-paid non-working periods established by the employer, other than bona fide rest or meal periods.

  • Rig means, collectively, offshore drilling rigs, including, semisubmersibles, drillships, xxxx-ups, semisubmersible tender assist vessels and submersible rigs, owned by the Borrower and/or any Subsidiary of the Borrower, and, individually, any of such rigs.

  • Operating Hours means the hours listed in an early learning program parent handbook when the program is open and providing care and services to children.

  • Clock hours means the actual number of hours or time a participant spends attending the instructional portion of a training designed to develop or enhance early care and education or school–age care competencies.

  • Sawed-off shotgun means any shotgun with overall length of less than twenty-six

  • Off-site means located outside the property boundary described in the permit application.

  • Flight Hour means each hour or part thereof elapsing from the moment at which the wheels of the Aircraft (or other aircraft in the case of Parts or Engines temporarily installed on such other aircraft) leave the ground on the take-off of the Aircraft (or such other aircraft) until the wheels of the Aircraft (or such other aircraft) touch the ground on the landing of the Aircraft (or such other aircraft) following such take-off.

  • Hours means clock hours.

  • On-Peak Hours means Hour Ending (“HE”) 0800 through HE 2300 EPT, Monday through Friday, excluding Saturday, Sunday and PJM holidays.

  • Peak Hours or “Peak Period” means the period with the highest ridership during the entire transit service day as determined by the transit operator.
