OCWA definition

OCWA means the Ontario Clean Water Agency. “OWRA” means the Ontario Water Resources Act.
OCWA means the Ontario Clean Water Agency, a corporation established and created under the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ S.O., 1993, c23.

  • Each of OCWA and the Client shall be entitled to designate in writing to the other, one or more individuals who shall be authorized to represent it in connection with the day-to-day administration of the provisions of this Agreement (the “Authorized Representative(s)”).

  • As such, OCWA is not required to obtain insurance for this purpose and the Client has or will obtain its own insurance.

  • In performing the Services, OCWA shall be acting as an independent contractor and only to the extent and for the specific purposes expressly set forth herein.

  • The Parties understand that this Agreement and any materials or information provided to OCWA through the performance of the Services may be subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.F.31, as amended, or as otherwise required by law.

  • This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Client and OCWA with respect to the subject matter hereof and cancels and supersedes any prior understandings, undertakings, representations, warranties, terms, conditions and agreements, whether collateral, express, implied or statutory, between the Client and OCWA with respect thereto.

  • Neither OCWA nor its employees, agents or subcontractors shall be subject to the direction and control of the Client, except as expressly provided in this Agreement.

  • OCWA shall, when practicable, try to give the Client reasonable advance notice of any such occurrence.

  • However, OCWA reserves the right to decline to renew the Agreement by notifying the Client in writing of its decision to decline, within thirty (30) days of receipt of the Client’s written request to renew.

  • Subject to any adjustments made pursuant to other provisions of this Agreement, the Client shall pay OCWA a price for the Services for each Year of the Initial Term as described in Schedule D.

  • The Client acknowledges that OCWA’s Commercial General Liability and Contractor’s Pollution Liability insurance shall not extend to cover any claims, exposure or liability beyond those directly linked to the provision of Services by OCWA staff.

  • CWA means the Clean Water Act (formerly referred to as the Federal Water Pollution Control Act) Public Law 92-500 as amended by Public Law 95-217, and Public Law 95-576, 33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq.

  • Group health plan means an employee welfare benefit plan as defined in section 3(1) of subtitle A of title I of the employee retirement income security act of 1974, Public Law 93-406, 29 USC 1002, to the extent that the plan provides medical care, including items and services paid for as medical care to employees or their dependents as defined under the terms of the plan directly or through insurance, reimbursement, or otherwise.

  • Home health aide means an individual employed by a home health agency to provide home health services under the direction of a registered nurse or therapist.

  • FMCSA means Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

  • TMDL means the total maximum daily load limitation of a parameter, representing the estimated assimilative capacity for a water body before other designated uses are adversely affected. Mathematically, it is the sum of wasteload allocations for point sources, load allocations for non-point and natural background sources, and a margin of safety.
