Mining Subsidence Act definition

Mining Subsidence Act means the Bituminous Mine Subsidence and Land Conservation Act, 52 P.S. §§ 1406.1-1406.21.

  • Insurance Act means the Insurance Act, 2017 (Act No. 18 of 2017);

  • Subsidence means the lowering in elevation of the surface of land by the withdrawal of groundwater.

  • Water pollution means the unpermitted release of sediment from disturbed areas, solid waste or waste-derived constituents, or leachate to the waters of the state.

  • Environmental pollution means the contaminating or rendering unclean or impure the air, land or waters of the state, or making the same injurious to public health, harmful for commer- cial or recreational use, or deleterious to fish, bird, animal or plant life.
