All stewards who are legally obligated under the Ontario Waste Diversion Transition Act, 2016 and according to these Rules, must register as a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ of the MHSW Program, and File Quarterly MHSM ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇’▇ Reports of the quantities of MHSM Supplied in Ontario and pay fees on these materials as outlined in Appendix A, in accordance with Ontario Regulation 387/16 (as found in Appendix D of these Rules).
These Rules remain in force until the Wind Up the MHSW Program, unless or until new Rules are approved by RPRA and are posted on the Stewardship Ontario website, as may be expressly or by implication amended by the MHSW Approved Wind Up Plan.

The following Rules relate to the Municipal Hazardous or Special Waste (MHSW) Program, and become effective January 1, 2017.
This policy applies to all adjustment requests submitted on or after January 1, 2020, regardless of the data or reporting period/year associated with the adjustment request, initiated by stewards and voluntary stewards (“stewards”) meeting their regulatory stewardship obligations with either of the following programs: • Stewardship Ontario Blue Box Program; • Stewardship Ontario MHSW Program.
In connection therewith, You agree that, while a Member, You are prohibited from fulfilling your ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Responsibility Obligations under the Legislation other than pursuant to Your membership in Our Industry Stewardship Plan (such as by fulfilling those obligations yourself, or by contracting with a third party, or by joining another Industry Stewardship Plan approved by WDO for Automotive Materials, or by participating in the MHSW Program operated by Stewardship Ontario).
