Management Leave definition

Management Leave. Though administrative overtime is uncompensated, the Fire Chief may grant paid management leave to any manager during the year, at his or her sole discretion, in recognition of extraordinary uncompensated overtime. Such discretionary management leave shall be in addition to annual management leave otherwise provided in this Agreement, and subject to the same terms as discretionary management leave awarded to other Group II Managers under the citywide Management Performance and Compensation Plan.

Examples of Management Leave in a sentence

  • Due to the implementation of Universal Leave, effective January 11, 2009, employees no longer accrue Management Leave.

  • Accruals will occur only when the employee’s Management Leave balance is less than 80 hours.

  • For purposes of Annual Sick Leave Sell-Back/Conversion (Section 9.1.5), Management Leave Sell-Back (Section 9.12) and Vacation Sell-Back (Section 10.6, including any pre-requisites for such sell-back, for a permanent part-time represented employee, a “day’ shall be calculated as a pro-rata number of hours according to the time worked in relation to the normal workweek for the full-time class.

  • Under no circumstances shall available Management Leave hours be carried over to a new calendar year.

  • Accrued Management Leave equal to or less than one year’s accrual will carry forward to the next calendar year, except that at no time shall the accrual exceed a maximum of one year’s accrual (80 hours).

  • Any Management Leave hours not taken by PP025 will be cashed out in PP026.

  • An employee may also cash out their Management Leave or convert their pay out to deferred compensation by completing the required form and returning it to the Human Resources office in advance of the payroll deadline.

  • C.3.a. For those who elect "Management Leave", the following provisions apply.

  • As of the Effective Date, Engeland shall be credited with twenty-four (24) hours of Management Leave, and he will thereafter accrue Management Leave at the rate of one hundred twenty (120) hours per year.

  • At the start of any fiscal year, employees shall elect either "Management Leave" or the overtime option.

  • Management Contract means the contract executed between the treasurer and a program manager.

  • Management Control means the possession, directly or indirectly of the power to direct or cause the direction of the management and policies of the Concessionaire, whether through the ownership of voting securities, by contract or otherwise or the power to elect or appoint more than 50% (fifty percent) of the directors, managers, partners or other individuals exercising similar authority with respect to the Concessionaire.

  • Management Letter means formal communications from the auditor to the client management in accordance with the International Standard on Auditing 265 (communicating deficiencies in internal control to those charged with governance and management), which is not required to be provided separately as it is equivalent to the Audit Findings and Recommendations prepared by the Project auditor and submitted to ADB;

  • Management Group means at any time, the Chairman of the board of directors, the Chief Executive Officer, the President, any Managing Director, Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President or Vice President, any Treasurer and any Secretary of Holdings or other executive officer of Holdings or any Subsidiary of Holdings at such time.

  • Key Management Personnel means persons having authority and responsibility for planning, directing and controlling the activities of the Company, directly or indirectly, including any Director (whether executive or otherwise) of the Company;
