Management Grievance definition

Management Grievance is defined as a claim by the Employer that the Union, or one of its Representatives or Stewards, has acted in a manner that is not in accordance with this Collective Agreement. A management grievance may be submitted at Step 2 and applicable amendments to the language of Step 2 shall be deemed to have been made.

Examples of Management Grievance in a sentence

  • The City Council or the Committee appointed thereof may refer a Management Grievance to arbitration in the same way as the grievance of a Full Time Fire Fighter.

  • The City Council or the Committee appointed thereafter may refer a Management Grievance to Arbitration in the same way as the grievance of a Full Time Civilian.

  • The interpretation and grievance adjudication of this Agreement shall be the responsibility and sole prerogative of the Joint Labor- Management Grievance and Interpretation Committee, which is a part of this Agreement.

  • In the case of a Management Grievance, the grievance shall be presented to the Unit Chairperson in writing.

  • The parties agree to establish a Labor- Management Grievance Review Committee.

  • Following the receipt of the response from the Management Grievance Committee at Step 2 the parties may, by mutual agreement, request the services of a grievance mediator in attempting to resolve a grievance prior to arbitration.

  • Grievances under this clause will be submitted electronically per Article 4.04, or in the case of a Management Grievance to the ONA Labour Relations Officer or designate directly.

  • The time limit for submitting a grievance to arbitration shall be thirty (30) calendar days from the Union’s receipt of the Management Grievance Committee’s written response (step 4), or the failure of a mediator to affect a settlement (step 5).

  • The Management Grievance Committee will meet within ten (10) working days with the Employee, the Shop ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, and the Union’s Business Representative.

  • If the grievance remain unresolved at the conclusion of the Step Three meeting, the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ may submit it within five (5) working days to the Management Grievance Committee comprised of the Company President (or designate), the Panel Group Supervisor, and the Panel Shop Manager.

Related to Management Grievance

  • Group Grievance is defined as a single grievance, signed by a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or a Union Representative on behalf of a group of employee who have the same complaint. Such grievances must be dealt with at successive stages of the Grievance Procedure commencing with Step 1. The grievors shall be listed on the grievance form.

  • Floodplain Management means the operation of an overall program of corrective and preventive measures for reducing flood damage, including but not limited to emergency preparedness plans, flood control works and floodplain management regulations.

  • Management Group means at any time, the Chairman of the board of directors, the Chief Executive Officer, the President, any Managing Director, Executive Vice President, Senior Vice President or Vice President, any Treasurer and any Secretary of Holdings or other executive officer of Holdings or any Subsidiary of Holdings at such time.

  • Environmental and Social Management Framework or “ESMF” means the environmental and social management framework of the Project States dated March 31, 2005, which, inter alia, sets forth the environmental and social safeguards applicable to the Project including the identification, assessment and mitigation of potential environmental and social impacts arising from carrying out Project activities, measures to protect cultural property, proposed management and mitigation measures, and the relevant institutional framework required, as updated by the Project States from time to time in a manner satisfactory to the Association;

  • Policy Grievance shall be signed by a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or a Union representative or, in the case of an Employer's policy grievance, by the Employer or its representative.
