Major Contractors definition

Major Contractors means, collectively, with respect to a given Project, the Construction Manager, the Prime Contractor, the Project Engineer and the Power Island Supplier, if any, for such Project.
Major Contractors means Tenant's General Contractor and the contractors performing work relating to the electrical, mechanical, plumbing and life-safety systems;
Major Contractors means those Persons who make payments, or furnish goods or services, to the Borrower, Sunstone, any of their Subsidiaries, any of the Hotels, the Operating Lessee or the Manager, the failure of which Persons to be Year 2000 Compliant could have a Material Adverse Effect. In furtherance of this covenant, the Borrower shall, in addition to any other necessary actions, perform or cause to be performed a comprehensive review and assessment of all software, hardware, equipment, goods and systems utilized or material to the physical operations, business operations or financing reporting of the Borrower, Sunstone, their Subsidiaries, the Hotels, the Operating Lessee and the Manager, and shall adopt or cause to be adopted a detailed plan for the testing, remediation and monitoring of such software, hardware, equipment, goods and systems to ensure compliance with the foregoing provisions. The Borrower shall, within thirty (30) days of the Administrative Agent's written request, provide to the Administrative Agent such certification or other evidence of the Borrower's compliance with the provisions of this section as the Administrative Agent may from time to time reasonably require.

Major Contractors means those Persons who make payments, or furnish goods or services, to the Borrower, Sunstone, any of their Subsidiaries, any of
Major Contractors means those Contractors who will perform a portion of Work, as far as such persons or entities are known on the day on which the proposal is submitted. The Major Contracts are listed in Exhibit D, “Major Contractors List,” attached to this Agreement and incorporated into this Agreement by this reference.

Related to Major Contractors

  • Contractors means the bidder whose bid has been accepted by the COE;

  • Subcontractors means subcontractors or subconsultants at any tier that are under the direct or indirect control or responsibility of the Contractor, and includes all independent contractors, agents, employees, authorized resellers, or anyone else for whom the Contractor may be liable at any tier, including a person or entity that is, or will be, providing or performing an essential aspect of this Contract, including Contractor’s manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers.

  • Labor contractor means an individual or entity, either with or without a contract, which supplies a client employer with, or maintains a pool or availability list of, workers to perform labor within the client employer’s usual course of business. This definition is not intended to include Farm Labor Contractors.

  • Sub-Contractors means those persons furnishing labor or materials for the Project pursuant to the Sub- Contracts.

  • Major Subcontractor means a Subcontractor who enters into a Major Subcontract.
