local count means the count of the London votes given for a registered political party or, as the case may be, an individual candidate, at an election in an Assembly constituency;

  • local council means the municipal council of a local municipality;

  • Local Calls for purposes of intercarrier compensation, is traffic where all calls are within the same common local and common mandatory local calling area, i.e., within the same or different SBC Exchange(s) that participate in the same common local mandatory local calling area approved by the applicable state Commission.
