local action group definition

local action group means a group appointed by a rural development joint council committee to implement a local development strategy in its area in accordance with Axes 3 and 4 of the Northern Ireland Rural Development Programme 2007-2013;
local action group means the local initiative group and the local initiative fishery group under the Partnership Agreement, laying down the assistance from the European structural and investment funds for the period 2014 – 2020.

local action group and the acronym “LAG” mean a balanced and representative group of partners, comprising more than fifty percent (50%) representation from the private sector, non-governmental organizations, and individual persons, drawn from different socioeconomic sectors in a given territory, able to devise and implement together a development strategy for the territory, formed for the purpose of implementing projects eligible for financing under the EU Leader Axis, representing no more than one hundred thousand (100,000) and not less than ten thousand (10,000) persons, and responsible for all aspects of implementation of EU Leader Axis projects, including project screening and approval, monitoring (both physical and impact), payments;

  • Aggregation Group means either a Required Aggregation Group or a Permissive Aggregation Group as hereinafter determined.

  • Risk retention group means any corporation or other limited liability association:

  • Corporation Group means the Corporation, its affiliate, successors and permitted
