key function holders means the heads of functions whose performance allows a significant influence over the conduct or monitoring of the activities of the institutions. They include, in particular, the heads of the three internal control functions in all institutions, i.e. the Chief Risk Officer (“CRO”) for the risk control function, the Chief Compliance Officer (“CCO”) for the compliance function and the Chief Internal Auditor (“CIA”) for the internal audit function, as well as the head of the financial function (Chief Financial Officer, “CFO”) in significant institutions.
