Scan means the complete process of collecting x-ray transmission data for the production of a tomogram. Data can be collected simultaneously during a single scan for the production of one or more tomograms.

Capture means the process of buffering EDR data in a temporary, volatile storage where it is continuously updated at regular time intervals.
Instantaneous for monitoring requirements, means a single reading, observation, or measurement. If more than one sample is taken during any calendar day, each result obtained shall be considered.
Electrostatic application means the application to a substrate of charged atomized paint droplets that are deposited by electrostatic attraction.
Image means the electronic image of the front and back of an Item, in addition to other required information, as specified by us, in the format we specify.
Subsystem means any subset of the System identified as such in the Contract that may be supplied, installed, tested, and commissioned individually before Commissioning of the entire System.

Encrypt means to encode Confidential Information into a format that can only be read by those possessing a “key”; a password, digital certificate or other mechanism available only to authorized users.
