ISDN30 definition

ISDN30. – shall mean Integrated Services digital network and provide 8 – 30 independent channels (lines).
ISDN30 means the Primary Rate Interface which is carried over an E1 circuit (2048 kbit/s). The E1 has 30 bearer channels of 64 kbit/s and one data channel of 64 kbit/s as well as timing and alarm channels of 64 kbit/s.

Failure of the ServiceBT will provide a repair service for WLR3 Wholesale Access, WLR3 ISDN2 and WLR3 ISDN30 in accordance with the Service Maintenance Level ordered by the Communications Provider in accordance with the procedures set out in the Service Maintenance Level Mapping Product Description.

The signalling for the ISDN 30 Service conforms to ETSI Q.931 standard for ISDN30e and DASS2 (Digital Access Signalling System Number 2) for ISDN30 DASS for connection to approved equipment.

In case of ISDN30 Trunk recording it is possible to improve the number of licences of logical channels (does not requires buying licenses for the entire trunk).
