Intervention or interaction means physical procedures by which data are gathered, manipulations of the subject or the subject’s environment performed for research purposes, communication or interpersonal contact between a researcher and a subject.

  • Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) means a written plan that:

  • Crisis intervention means the implementation of a service, support, or strategy to immediately stabilize a crisis and prevent the crisis from reoccurring after the crisis ends.

  • Behavioral intervention means the implementation of strategies to address behavior that is dangerous, disruptive, or otherwise impedes the learning of a student or others.

  • Synchronous interaction means a real-time interaction between a patient and a health care provider for telehealth located at a distant site.

  • Child custody proceeding means a proceeding in which legal custody, physical custody, or visitation with respect to a child is an issue. The term includes a proceeding for dissolution of marriage, separation, neglect, abuse, dependency, guardianship, paternity, termination of parental rights, and protection from domestic violence, in which the issue may appear. The term does not include a proceeding involving juvenile delinquency, contractual emancipation, or enforcement under article III.
