Intermediate storage facility definition

Intermediate storage facility means a warehouse or other collection facility used for the temporary storage of whole spent lead acid batteries before sending the batteries to a spent lead acid battery reclamation facility. An intermediate storage facility excludes facilities belonging to the following:

  • Chemical Storage Facility means a building, portion of a building, or exterior area adjacent to a building used for the storage of any chemical or chemically reactive products.
