Seller guarantees that cargo provided is safe for transport by sea according to the IMSBC code.
Unless the cargo is elsewhere excluded in this Charter Party, the vessel may load any lawful, properly certified, safe, cargo in compliance with applicable regulations of the International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes Code (IMSBC Code) or any subsequent revisions thereof and applicable local regulations in effect at the time of loading.
The certificate(s) will remain valid for such period as defined by the IMSBC code or applicable local regulations, whichever is the shorter.

The subcommittee endorsed the Working Group’s recommendation to amend 4.5.1 and 4.5.2 of the IMSBC Code addressing the need to enhance testing protocol for determining transportable moisture limits of bulk cargoes (See CCC 3/5/20).
The subcommittee noted preparation of the Editorial and Technical Group’s (E&T) draft amendments to the IMSBC Code and established a working group to address further consideration of the subject amendments.
