Immobiliser definition

Immobiliser means a device which is intended to prevent the vehicle being driven away powered by its own engine.
Immobiliser means a device which is intended to prevent normal driving away of a vehicle under its own power (prevention of unauthorised use).
Immobiliser has the meaning set out in clause 9.2.

Examples of Immobiliser in a sentence

  • Any replacement telematics device and/or immobiliser f itted to the Vehicle shall be deemed to be a Telematics Device or Immobiliser (as applicable) for the purpose of this Agreement.

  • If the Hirer exercises the Purchase Option, the Hirer agrees that, prior to taking title to the Vehicle, it shall deliver the Vehicle to an address and on a date and time specified by Rapid to enable Rapid and/or an Authorised Provider to remove any Immobiliser and/or Telematics Device f itted to the Vehicle (the “De- Installation Process”).
