Examples of Holiday benefit in a sentence

  • Holiday benefit time" is the hours that a SHARE member receives when they are off on a holiday.

  • Holiday benefit time will count toward the 40- hour overtime calculation if it is taken as pay in the week it is earned (or it can be banked as holiday bank time, at a straight time rate.) If the operational needs of the department require that some SHARE members work an extra shift that week, the department will use a fair system for determining who gets to work one fewer shift, with input from the SHARE staff.

  • Holiday benefit hours will be paid whether the employee is scheduled to work the holiday or not.

Related to Holiday benefit
