Holiday benefit definition

Holiday benefit means up to eight (8) hours paid compensation for time off in recognition of each County holiday.

Examples of Holiday benefit in a sentence

  • Holiday benefit time" is the hours that a SHARE member receives when they are off on a holiday.

  • Holiday benefit time will count toward the 40- hour overtime calculation if it is taken as pay in the week it is earned (or it can be banked as holiday bank time, at a straight time rate.)   • Employees on unpaid status are not eligible for the Holiday benefit.

  • Effective for all work performed on and after July 1, 2014, it is agreed that upon written authorization, provided by the Union, as required by law the amount of 2.5% per hour, for each hour paid for or worked, shall be deducted from the Vacation and Holiday benefit of each ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ and remitted directly to the Union, as the Union may from time to time direct.

  • Nutrition Service employees will be offered a variety of continuing education opportunities throughout the school year.

  • Upon the execution of a proper authorization as required by law, the amount set forth shall be transmitted from the Vacation- Holiday benefit of each Employee performing work or being paid under this Agreement and shall be remitted directly to the Union.

  • For purposes of this Article a day means up to eight hours, consistent with the eight- hour Holiday benefit.

Related to Holiday benefit

  • Bereavement Pay Benefits means the benefits as set out in Article II hereof.

  • Normal Retirement Benefit means the benefit described in Section 2.1.

  • Monthly Benefit means the monthly amount payable by Lincoln to you if you are Disabled or Partially Disabled.
