HEA means the Higher Education Act of 1965, 20 U.S.C. § 1001 et seq., as amended, or successor statutes thereto.
Gasohol means a blended fuel composed of gasoline and fuel grade ethanol.

Forest means an area of land defined by the minimum values for area size, tree crown cover or an equivalent stocking level, and potential tree height at maturity at the place of growth of the trees as specified for each Member State in Annex II. It includes areas with trees, including groups of growing, young, natural trees, or plantations that have yet to reach the minimum values for tree crown cover or an equivalent stocking level or minimum tree height as specified in Annex II, including any area that normally forms part of the forest area but on which there are temporarily no trees as a result of human intervention, such as harvesting, or as a result of natural causes, but which area can be expected to revert to forest;
Hot Weather Alert means the notice provided by PJM to PJM Members, Transmission Owners, resource owners and operators, customers, and regulators to prepare personnel and facilities for extreme hot and/or humid weather conditions which may cause capacity requirements and/or unit unavailability to be substantially higher than forecast are expected to persist for an extended period. Hot water means water at a temperature of 110°F. (43°C.) or higher.
HEPA filter means a high efficiency particulate absolute air filter capable of trapping and retaining 99.97 percent of fibers greater than 0.3 micrometers in mass median aerodynamic diameter equivalent.
Nuclear pharmacy means a pharmacy providing radio-pharmaceutical service.
Dewatering means the removal of water for construction activity. It can be a discharge of appropriated surface or groundwater to dry and/or solidify a construction site. It may require Minnesota Department of Natural Resources permits to be appropriated and if contaminated may require other MPCA permits to be discharged.
Recycling center means an establishment, place of business, facility or building which is maintained, operated, or used for the storing, keeping, buying, or selling of newspaper or used food or beverage containers or plastic containers for the purpose of converting such items into a usable product.
Blend means seed consisting of more than one variety of a kind, each in excess of five percent by weight of the whole.

Groundwater means all water, which is below the surface of the ground in the saturation zone and in direct contact with the ground or subsoil.

Tobacco paraphernalia means any item designed for the consumption, use, or preparation of Tobacco Products.
