Examples of Half Term in a sentence

  • Full Council takes place in Week 7 and February Half Term takes place in Week 6.

  • Absence from School and ExeatsPupils are expected to arrive for the start of term and not leave before the end of term except for Half Term and Exeats.

  • The Contract is for two academic periods (First Half Term and/or Second Half Term, as applicable) and expires at 12:00 noon on the day of the student’s last final exam for the relevant Summer Term.

  • Charges will apply for all days in a term, except when school is closed for all or a substantial part of the day (for example Half Term, End of Term holidays, INSET days and bank holidays).

  • Normal leave-out rules apply for boys returning early from holiday or Half Term.

  • This will also be the case for students returning to either their home or term time address for a break such as Christmas, Easter or Half Term.

  • All payments by a Party (other than the Security Trustee) under this Guarantee must be made to the Security Trustee to its account at such office or bank in London, as it may notify to that Party for this purpose by not less than five Business Days' prior notice.

  • Providing a mix of activities such as football, athletics, team games, dodgeball, swimming, and much more.To deliver 2 camps per week during the school holidays for the next year: May Half Term 2016, Summer 2016, October Half Term 2016, February Half Term 2017, and Easter 2017.

  • Hopefully students will be in a position by October Half Term of Year 12 to have shown their capabilities in this area.It is important to remember that Sixth Form study requires a new maturity and a high degree of personal responsibility.

  • Please note that the admission of pre nursery children to any school will not be possible any later than the Friday which follows the May Half Term Break.Wherever possible we ensure provision is available within the family’s catchment area.

  • Initial Term has the meaning set forth in Section 7.1.

  • Agreement Term has the meaning set forth in Section 11.1.

  • Contract Term means period of performance set forth in the paragraph entitled “Term” contained in Exhibit E.

  • Employment Term has the meaning specified in Section 2.

  • End of Term Extension means the time period defined in §2.D.

  • Effective Date of Termination means the date on which a Qualifying Termination occurs which triggers the payment of Severance Benefits hereunder.

  • Extended Term shall have the meaning given such term in Section 2.4.

  • a term s notice" means written notice given not later than the first day of the term preceding the term to which the notice relates;

  • Original Term shall have the meaning specified in Section 10 hereof.

  • Term of Employment means the period specified in Section 2 below.

  • Date of Termination means the date of receipt of the Notice of Termination or any later date specified therein, as the case may be; provided, however, that (i) if the Executive's employment is terminated by the Company other than for Cause or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date on which the Company notifies the Executive of such termination and (ii) if the Executive's employment is terminated by reason of death or Disability, the Date of Termination shall be the date of death of the Executive or the Disability Effective Date, as the case may be.

  • Payment Term means the length of time for payment of a Deferred Annual Award under Section 4.2.

  • Development Term means the period commencing on the Closing Date and ending on the earlier of (a) the Option Closing Date or (b) the date the Option terminates or expires other than by exercise.

  • Additional Term shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.2.

  • Period of Extended Hire means any additional period that the Hirer wishes the Agency Worker to be supplied for beyond the duration of the original Assignment or series of assignments as an alternative to paying a Transfer Fee;

  • Employment Period has the meaning set forth in Section 2.01.

  • Commitment Termination Date means the earlier of (a) the Maturity Date and (b) the earlier termination in whole of the Commitments pursuant to Section 2.04 or Article VII.

  • Half Year means the period of six months commencing on the first day of April or October of a financial year;

  • Minimum Term means the minimum period of service for each Service as shown on the Service Agreement, such period to start on the date on which the relevant Service is first made available to you for use;

  • Investment Term : means the period from the Investment Start Date to maturity.

  • Term Year means a 12-month period beginning on the first day of the Term and each successive 12-month period thereafter.

  • Cover Period means the period from the cover start date to the cover end date.
