Graded area definition

Graded area means that part of the runway strip cleared of all obstacles, except for specified items and graded, intended to reduce the risk of damage to an aircraft running off the runway.
Graded area means as it pertains to streets, land adjacent and parallel to the cartway within the right-of- way, which must be flattened or leveled to the same width and cross-slope as a sidewalk, if a sidewalk had been required at that location.

  • Covered area means the geographical area described in the solicitation from which this contract resulted;

  • prescribed area means any area over which Norway or any member State (other than the United Kingdom) exercises sovereign rights for the purpose of exploring the seabed and subsoil and exploiting their natural resources, being an area outside the territorial seas of Norway or such member State, or any other area which is from time to time specified under section 10(8) of the Petroleum Act 1998;

  • Exchange-Traded Product or “ETP” means a security traded on an exchange that: (i) tracks an underlying security, index or financial instrument; or (ii) uses a benchmark index but whose manager(s) may change sector allocations, market-time trades, or deviate from the index. The term “ETP” includes, among other things, exchange-traded funds (“ETFs”), exchange-traded notes (“ETNs”) and exchange-traded commodities (“ETCs”).

  • Regulated area means any portion of an eradication zone designated for any purpose necessary to the execution of the Boll Weevil Eradication Program.

  • ILUA Area means the geographical area in relation to which the Framework ILUA applies, as specified in Schedule 2 of the Framework ILUA;
