Generation Interconnection Request definition

Generation Interconnection Request means a request by a Generation Interconnection Customer pursuant to Tariff, Part IV, subpart A, to interconnect a generating unit with the Transmission System or to increase the capacity of a generating unit interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region.
Generation Interconnection Request means a request by a Generation Interconnection Customer pursuant to Tariff, Part IV, subpart A, of the Tariff to interconnect a generating unit with the Transmission System or to increase the capacity of a generating unit interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region.
Generation Interconnection Request means a request by a Generation Project Developer pursuant to Tariff, Part VIII, Part [[to be determined], to interconnect a generating unit with the Transmission System or to increase the capacity of a generating unit interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region.

  • Upon submission of a Generation Interconnection Request (GIR) the Interconnection Customer must provide certain cash deposits, along with certain Financial Securities, up front.

  • The Transmission Provider shall acknowledge receipt of the Generation Interconnection Request (electronically when available to all parties, otherwise written) within five Business Days after receipt of the request and shall attach a copy of the received Generation Interconnection Request to the Transmission Provider’s acknowledgment.

  • The Interconnection Customer must submit the total required deposit amount with the Generation Interconnection Request.

  • SPP will retain Restudy Cash Study Deposits while the Interim GIA is active and any remaining refunds, if applicable, would be refunded after the Generation Interconnection Request reaches full Commercial Operation.

  • Through the utilization of an application called EFA (Engineering Finance andAdministration) Tool the Cash Study Deposits are collected and credited toward each individual Generation Interconnection Request.

  • If the Interconnection Customer fails to pay such estimated additional study costs within ten Business Days of Transmission Provider sending the Interconnection Customer notification of such estimated additional study costs, then the Generation Interconnection Request shall be deemed to be terminated and withdrawn.

  • A deposit of $15,000 if the Generation Interconnection Request is received in the sixth calendar month of the current New Services Queue.

  • Transmission Interconnection Customer means an entity that submits an Interconnection Request to interconnect or add Merchant Transmission Facilities to the Transmission System or to increase the capacity of Merchant Transmission Facilities interconnected with the Transmission System in the PJM Region or an entity that submits an Upgrade Request for Merchant Network Upgrades (including accelerating the construction of any transmission enhancement or expansion, other than Merchant Transmission Facilities, that is included in the Regional Transmission Expansion Plan prepared pursuant to Operating Agreement, Schedule 6).

  • Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities means all Interconnection Facilities that are not Customer Interconnection Facilities and that, after the transfer under Tariff, Attachment P, Appendix 2, section 5.5 to the Interconnected Transmission Owner of title to any Transmission Owner Interconnection Facilities that the Interconnection Customer constructed, are owned, controlled, operated and maintained by the Interconnected Transmission Owner on the Interconnected Transmission Owner’s side of the Point of Interconnection identified in appendices to the Interconnection Service Agreement and to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including any modifications, additions or upgrades made to such facilities and equipment, that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Customer Facility with the Transmission System or interconnected distribution facilities. Transmission Provider: The “Transmission Provider” shall be the Office of the Interconnection for all purposes, provided that the Transmission Owners will have the responsibility for the following specified activities:

  • Interconnection Point means the point(s) of connection(s) at which the project is connected to the grid i.e. it shall be at 11 / 22 kV bus bar level of substation of MSEDCL.

  • Interconnection Customer means a Generation Interconnection Customer and/or a Transmission Interconnection Customer.

  • Interconnector means equipment used to link the electricity system of the State to electricity systems outside of the State;

  • Surplus Interconnection Customer means either an Interconnection Customer whose Generating Facility is already interconnected to the PJM Transmission System or one of its affiliates, or an unaffiliated entity that submits a Surplus Interconnection Request to utilize Surplus Interconnection Service within the Transmission System in the PJM Region. A Surplus Interconnection Customer is not a New Service Customer.

  • Customer Interconnection Facilities means all facilities and equipment owned and/or controlled, operated and maintained by Interconnection Customer on Interconnection Customer’s side of the Point of Interconnection identified in the appropriate appendices to the Interconnection Service Agreement and to the Interconnection Construction Service Agreement, including any modifications, additions, or upgrades made to such facilities and equipment, that are necessary to physically and electrically interconnect the Customer Facility with the Transmission System.

  • Surplus Interconnection Service means any unneeded portion of Interconnection Service established in an Interconnection Service Agreement, such that if Surplus Interconnection Service is utilized, the total amount of Interconnection Service at the Point of Interconnection would remain the same.
