An employee shall be entitled to a Hospital ▇▇▇▇ Audit Gainsharing payment of 33 1/3 % of an overpayment (or other billing error resulting in an overpayment to the health care provider), up to a maximum of $500 to the employee for each incident.
In order to qualify for the Gainsharing payment, the employee must: (i) identify an overpayment of more than $250 (in the aggregate) in a hospital ▇▇▇▇ that is presented to an employee or his or her dependent; and (ii) notify the BPCSS Office of Benefits Management of the error within 30 days after receipt of an Explanation of Benefits from the Health Plan.
