Functional Tests definition

Functional Tests means the functional tests to be conducted by Contractor as described in the Scope of Work.
Functional Tests means tests that verify that specific components, assemblies, systems, and interfaces among systems function and perform in accordance with the owner’s objectives and the relevant Contract Documents. Functional testing may include manual or monitoring methods.
Functional Tests means the tests to determine the functionality of the Facility, equipment, and components incorporated therein, as described in Exhibit P.

  • Periodic Functional Tests shall be performed every six (6) months in accordance with Table 34-4.

  • Contractor shall conduct Functional Tests for each Block in accordance with Exhibit 27 and when Contractor believes that a Block can satisfy the Minimum Capacity Level, Contractor shall conduct the Capacity Test with respect to each Block in accordance with Exhibit 16A.

  • Functional Tests that are deferred until the system(s) will experience conditions closer to their intended design conditions.


More Definitions of Functional Tests

Functional Tests means all activities undertaken after completion of erection and shall include mechanical and electrical check outs, safety checks, calibration of instruments and protection devices and such other tests carried out to ensure functional reliability of various sub-supporting systems.

Written Functional Test procedures for a given piece of equipment contain a list of integral equipment and components being tested, associated Construction Checklists, functions and modes to be tested, required conditions of the test for each mode, specific step-by-step repeatable procedures, the expected or required response and acceptance criteria, a place to record the results and notes, required monitoring and any sampling strategies used. “Initial Basic Services” are those Services authorized to be performed under the first phase of commissioning, generally described in Section I.C., and more particularly described in Section V. of this Agreement.
