Franchised Hauler definition

Franchised Hauler means a hauler holding a franchise, contract, license or permit issued by the City which authorizes the exclusive or non-exclusive right to provide solid waste handling services within all or part of the jurisdictional boundaries of the City.
Franchised Hauler or “Franchisee” means a residential or commercial solid waste hauler or hauler possessing a valid franchise issued by the City pursuant to this Title. A “franchised hauler” or “franchisee” may also collect, haul, or transport recyclable materials.
Franchised Hauler means CCCSWA’s franchised solid waste collector, currently Republic Services, Inc., or its successor provided Notice is given. Hazardous Waste means materials that are hazardous, including:

  • Franchisor means a person who grants a franchise or master franchise, or an affiliate of such a person. Franchisor includes a subfranchisor with regard to its relationship with a franchisee, unless stated otherwise in this section.
