FHAP definition

FHAP means a Fair Housing Assistance Program partnership between the federal government and state and local agencies to provide protection to the public against discrimination in housing. Under this partnership, the Elkhart Human Relations Commission is substantially equivalent to the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity.
