The provisions of Factory Act 1948, Payment of Wages Act 1948, Minimum Wages Act 1948, ESI Act 1948, PF Act 1972, Contract Labour (Regulations & Abolition) Act 1970, Payment of Bonus Act 1965 and other labour laws as amended from time to time, relevant to the contract employee shall be applicable.
The contract employees who are out of coverage of ESI Act and Scheme should be covered under Group Insurance Policy linked with ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ compensation Act.
The contractor should take independent code numbers under EPF Act 1952 and ESI Act 1948 and shall cover his workmen under the employee’s provident fund schemes and Employees State Insurance Act 1948 and show proof of payment of subscriptions/contributions to the concerned authorities.
These personnel shall at no point of time be construed to be employees of Maha-Metro and the Licensee shall be solely responsible for compliance with all labour laws which shall include all liabilities of the Provident Fund Act, ESI Act, Workmen’s compensation Act, Minimum Wages Act and other Labour Welfare Act in respect of its personnel.
This will be pending on the CONTRACTOR when the ESI Act is extended to the place of work.

The aforementioned salary structure is subject to change as per the future Acts, if any, or statutory changes, modifications or amendments in the applicable laws, such as the ESI Act, 1948, Minimum Wages Act, 1948, etc.
Contractor shall take all steps, necessary or otherwise, to comply with the various applicable laws/rules/regulations, including, but not limited to, the provisions of Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition ACT) 1970 as amended, Minimum Wages Act, 1984, Workmen Compensation Act, ESI Act, PF Act, Bonus Act, and all other applicable laws and rules framed there under including any statutory approval required from the Central / State Governments, Ministry of Labour.
The service provider shall be responsible for ensuring compliance with the provisions related to Labour Law (Central/State), Minimum Wages Act, PF, ESI Act, Payment of Bonus Act, Contract Labour(R&A) Act, Workmen Compensation Act etc.
The requisite amount as per provisions of, and as prescribed in, the ESI Act towards employee's contribution would be deducted from your compensation.
