Energy Analysis definition

Energy Analysis. A process in which intelligent modeling software uses the BIM model to determine the most effective facility energy plan based on engineering and design specifications. These analysis tools and performance simulations can significantly improve the design of the facility and its energy consumption during its lifecycle in the future.
Energy Analysis has the meaning set out in Appendix 4G [Utility Management Services]; “Energy Analysis Report” has the meaning set out in Appendix 8C [Energy];
Energy Analysis means'an on-site inspection of a Building to estimate the potential electric energy savings from Measures and to estimate the cost of achieving such savings.
