Energistics definition

Energistics has the meaning set forth in the first paragraph of this Agreement.
Energistics or the “Consortium”) is a non-profit membership corporation dedicated, among other things, to the promulgation of open standards in the oil and gas exploration and production industry. This Information and Intellectual Property Policy (“Policy”) applies to all participants in Energistics Activities (as defined below), whether or not they are members of Energistics, (“Participants”), and compliance with this Policy is a prerequisite to participation in any Energistics Activity. Participation in any Energistics Activity shall be deemed to indicate an agreement to abide by the terms of this Policy.

Examples of Energistics in a sentence

  • Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, following Certification Approval for a Certified Product, Energistics grants to the Participant a revocable, non-exclusive, personal, non-transferable, non-assignable, limited license, without the right to sublicense, to display and reproduce those Certification Marks applicable to the Certified Product as specified by the Product Certification Program, its product literature, advertising, and marketing materials.

  • User will cease using Certification Marks and Energistics will remove Certified Product designation from website.

  • The Energistics Marks may be used only under license from Energistics.

  • Participant may, subject to the terms and conditions described herein, download from the Energistics website all applicable documentation and materials associated with the Product Certification Program.

  • Energistics is the owner of certain trademarks, logos, service marks, corporate names and domain names, including without limitation, ENERGISTICS, EPICENTRE, WITSML, PRODML, RESQML and ENERGYML (collectively, “Energistics Marks”).

  • Minor versions inherit certification from the major version certified by Energistics.

  • Participant shall indemnify, defend and hold Energistics and the Energistics Members, and their respective subsidiaries and affiliates, and their respective employees, agents, officers, and directors harmless from and against any and all demands, claims, causes of action, suits, judgments, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to any Certified Product or any other products or services offered by Participant.

  • Participant shall not use any Energistics Mark, or make any such statement, with respect to products and services that do not make material use of Energistics Work Items.

  • Participant agrees to credit Energistics in writing in a reasonable and conspicuous manner with respect to each copy of a commercial product or service offering of Participant that makes material use of any Energistics Work Item.

  • Specific to the Certification Mark, in the event that the quality level of the products or services with which Participant associates the Certification Mark is below the quality requirements of Energistics, Energistics shall notify the Participant and the Participant shall use reasonable efforts to improve such quality.

Related to Energistics

  • Energise means the operation of an isolator, circuit breaker, or switch, or the placing of a fuse or link, so that electricity can flow through a Point of Connection on the Network;

  • De-energise means the operation of any isolator, circuit breaker, or switch or the removal of any fuse or link so that no electricity can flow through a Point of Connection on the Network;

  • Re-energise means to Energise an ICP after it has been De-energised;

  • Energy means electricity, natural gas, steam, hot or chilled water, fuel oil, or other product for use in a building, or renewable on-site electricity generation, for purposes of providing heating, cooling, lighting, water heating, or for powering or fueling other end-uses in the building and related facilities, as reflected in Utility bills or other documentation of actual Energy use.

  • Company’s Business means the business of operating a commercial or retail bank, savings association, mutual thrift, credit union, trust company, securities brokerage or insurance agency.
