Electrical Industry definition

Electrical Industry or “Industry” means the industry in which employers and their employees are associated for any or all of the following -
Electrical Industry. As used herein the term "Electrical Industry" means all types of work covered by collective bargaining agreements to which the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, AFL-CIO, and/or any affiliated Local Union are a party, or under the trade jurisdiction of the I.B.E.W. Constitution; or any other work to which an electrical worker has been assigned, referred, or can perform by virtue of possessing the skills and training of an electrical worker.
Electrical Industry means the industry in which employers and their employees are associated for any or all of the following:

  • The Employer and the Union have a common and sympathetic interest in the Electrical Industry.

  • All such contributions shall be forwarded monthly, by the Employer on or before the fifteenth (15th) day of the month following the month in which the work was performed, to the Electrical Industry Administrative Maintenance Fund of Northeastern Line Constructors Chapter, NECA in the manner prescribed by the Fund Trustees.

  • The Board resolves to combat chemical abuse in any form through the Electrical Industry Drug-Free Alliance program.

Electrical Industry. That industry comprised of (i) electrical generators, transmission entities, and marketers of commercial electrical energy; and (ii) industrial and commercial owners and users of electrical transmission, distribution, and generation apparatus to the extent that the marketing and sale of Products is targeted for use in such electrical apparatus.
