dodadagohvi definition

dodadagohvi is a Tsalagi parting that means “let us, you (plural) and I, meet here again.” For individual, non-group, partings, the word used is “donadagohvi.” There are no words for “goodbye” in Tsalagi, as there are no final partings of ways. It is a part of our cultural beliefs that all things in this life are cyclical.
