District Work definition

District Work means all materials, equipment, labor, contract administration, construction inspection, and any other efforts to complete the District Project.
District Work is defined as paid, non-shift work such as district business meetings, district business travel or education or classes required by the district, including travel time to and from that non-shift work, that occurs outside of Employee’s regularly scheduled in station shift work. District Work does not include off duty report writing, regularly scheduled trainings, light duty, deployment, off duty call response or “Education”. • District Work compensation and scheduling will be handled on a case-by-case basis, with collaboration and cooperation between district and employee as a guiding principle. • District Work will be compensated at no less than the actual total hours worked.
District Work. (as defined in Article 25, Section M, paragraph 4) that has been previously agreed upon by both Employee and Fire Chief or designee, on a per event basis, as compensated as time and a half.

Examples of District Work in a sentence

  • Annually by October 1, the District shall publish to staff a directory that contains the following information unless a member requests it to be withheld: Name; Home Address; Phone Numbers provided to the District; Personal Email provided to the District; Work Email; and Work Site.

  • Contractor must notify the District Work Authorization Manager if either a) the agreed-upon budget or b) the expiration date of a Work Authorization needs to be amended prior to exceeding the agreed-upon budget or the expiration date of a Work Authorization.

  • District shall have unlimited rights, for the benefit of District, in all drawings, designs, technical specifications, notes and any other documentation and other Work developed in the performance of this Contract for the Project, including the right to re-use details of the Design on any other District Work at no additional cost to District.

  • district heating or ‘district cooling’ means the distribution of thermal energy in the form of steam, hot water or chilled liquids, from a central source of production through a network to multiple buildings or sites, for the use of space or process heating or cooling;

  • District Data means information, including, but not limited to, Personally Identifiable Information, business, administrative and financial information, intellectual property information, and other information that is not intentionally made generally available by the District on public websites or publications, that is provided to Vendor by or at the direction of District in the course of Vendor’s performance under this Agreement. “District Data” includes metadata and data derived from the use of District Data and metadata.

  • district municipality means a municipality that has municipal executive and legislative authority in an area that includes more than one municipality, and which is described in section 155(1) of the Constitution as a category C municipality;
