Appropriate Strategic Health Authority definition

Appropriate Strategic Health Authority in relation to any Associate Commissioner, the Strategic Health Authority whose area includes the area of that Associate Commissioner. Sub-committee: a sub-committee of the Committee.
Appropriate Strategic Health Authority means, in relation to any Member, the Strategic Health Authority whose area includes the area of that Member;

Related to Appropriate Strategic Health Authority

  • Health Authority means the regional health board designated under the Health Authority Act, RSBC 1996, c.180, or the Provincial Health Services Authority, to which the Participant is designated under Schedule 1 (Return of Service Placement Process) of this Contract, unless designated otherwise by the Province;

  • Public health authority means an agency or authority of the United States, a state, a territory, a political subdivision of a state or territory, or an Indian tribe, or a person or organization acting under a grant of authority from or contract with a public agency that is responsible for public health matters as part of its official mandate. “Public health authority” includes the employees or agents of the public agency and its contractors or persons or organizations to which it has granted authority.

  • Department of Health and Human Services means the Department of Health and Human Services

  • Medical evaluation means the process of assessing an individual's health status that includes a medical history and a physical examination of an individual conducted by a licensed medical practitioner operating within the scope of his license.

  • Local Mental Health Authority means a county legislative body.
