Direct Representative definition

Direct Representative means the role of acting in the name of and on behalf of the Declarant with HMRC or any other applicable Competent Authority;
Direct Representative means the Company acting in the name of and on behalf of the Merchant and/or the Principal with H M Revenue and Customs ("HMRC"), as defined by Council Regulations (EEC) No. 92/2913 or as amended, or any other authority.
Direct Representative means a direct agent within the meaning of the customs legislation and controls that apply in the relevant jurisdiction.

  • The Principal shall at all times be obliged to indemnify the Di- rect Representative for any amounts to be levied or additionally demanded by any authority in connection with this agreement/authorisation as well as any re- lated fines imposed upon the Direct Representative.
