For example, if the Developer Payment was due in February 2011 and the most current available Index at the time of payment was 187.3 and the Index for January 2009 was 182.5, the balance of the Developer Payment per EDU would be calculated as follows: $4,150 ($5,000 less the $50, $250 and $550 per EDU if previously paid) x 187.3/182.5 x 1.02 = $4,344.33.
