Data Use definition

Data Use means any utilization of personal data other than processing.
Data Use means the access, storage, transfer, and/or transformation of data through contribution, consumption, or computation.
Data Use the possibility for a user to present results based on data downloaded by the project database. Data provider: a person (could be also responsible for a group or project) that is responsible for a dataset present in the database and that has full rights on these data.

Examples of Data Use in a sentence

  • The Information Technology (IT) Director indicated on the Data Access Request, as well as any staff members and trainees under the direct supervision of the PI are also Approved Users and must abide by the terms laid out in the Data Use Certification Agreement.

  • The elements within the Genomic Data User Code of Conduct reflect the terms of access in the Data Use Certification Agreement.

Data Use. We use your personal information to provide and improve our Service, communicate with you, and comply with legal obligations.
Data Use means, at a minimum, that the Content can be freely accessed, shared, modified, copied, processed, translated, adapted, used to create derivative works, stored, hosted, transmitted, broadcasted, published, publicly displayed, or redistributed or otherwise used, including commercial use, in any medium, mode or format for any lawful purpose or data use program including but not limited to the Community Maps Program (and any extension or replacement to that program).
Data Use means any one or more of the following: (i) ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering legislation' (ii) the provision of anti-fraud services for the benefit of BMO' MCI or any other party' (iii) the processing and/or resolving of refunds or disputes' (iv) analyzing or improving MCI services to BMO' including for security and risk management purposes' (v) preparing and furnishing analyses and other internal reports of aggregated' anonymized information' (vi) the purpose of complying with applicable legal requirements' including' as may be required or requested by any judicial process or Governmental Authority having or claiming jurisdiction over any one or more of the following: BMO and MCI and (vii) for other purposes for which consent has been provided by a Client Party to whom the Information relates.

  • data user means a natural or legal person who has lawful access to certain personal or non-personal data and is authorised to use that data for commercial or non-commercial purposes;

  • Data Log means a complete record of all Data Interchanged representing the Messages and their Associated Data between the parties;
