Directory assistance means an ancillary service of providing:
Directory Assistance Database shall have the meaning set forth in Sections 10.5.2.2, 10.5.2.8, and 10.5.2.9.
Cash assistance means cash benefits provided under the family independence program, the refugee assistance program, or state disability assistance.
Directory Assistance Service includes, but is not limited to, making available to callers, upon request, information contained in the Directory Assistance Database. Directory Assistance Service includes, where available, the option to complete the call at the caller's direction. "Directory Listings" or "Listings" are any information identifying the listed names of subscribers of a Telecommunications Carrier or Provider, as applicable, and such subscribers' telephone numbers, addresses, or primary advertising classifications (as such classifications are assigned at the time of the establishment of such service), or any combination of such listed names, numbers, addresses or classifications: (1) that the Telecommunications Carrier and/or Provider provides or uses for the purpose of publishing the Listings in any directory format; or (2) that the Telecommunications Carrier and/or Provider provides or uses in Directory Assistance Service, Directory Assistance List Service, or for other lawful purposes.
technical assistance means any technical support related to repairs, development, manufacture, assembly, testing, maintenance, or any other technical service, and may take forms such as instruction, advice, training, transmission of working knowledge or skills or consulting services; including verbal forms of assistance;
Directory Assistance Lists shall have the meaning set forth in Section 10.6.1.1.
Medication assistance means assistance rendered by a
Dependent care assistance program means a benefit plan
Medical assistance means medical assistance as established under title XIX of the social security act, 42 USC 1396 to 1396w-5.
Primary Care Provider (PCP) means a health care professional who is contracted with BCBSAZ as a PCP and generally specializes in or focuses on the following practice areas: internal medicine, family practice, general practice, pediatrics or any other classification of provider approved as a PCP by BCBSAZ. Your benefit plan does not require you to have a PCP or to have a PCP authorize specialist referrals.
Personal assistance services means a range of services including, among other things, training in managing, supervising, and directing personal assistance services, provided by one or more persons, that are designed to assist an individual with a disability to perform daily living activities on or off the job that the individual would typically perform without assistance if the individual did not have a disability. The services are also designed to increase the individual's control in life and ability to perform everyday activities on or off the job; necessary to the achievement of an employment outcome; and provided only while the individual is receiving other vocational rehabilitation services.
Customer User means an employee of Customer, a Customer Affiliate or Business Partner.
Public assistance means Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF); auxiliary grants to the
Medical Assistance Program means the medical assistance provided pursuant to Chapter 319v of the Connecticut General Statutes (CGS) and authorized by Title XIX of the Social Security Act. The program is also referred to as Medicaid.
Energy assistance means benefits to assist low-income households with their home heating and
Legal assistance means provision of legal advice, counseling and representation by an attorney or other person acting under the supervision of an attorney.
Customer Portal means a web portal maintained by Liferay or a Liferay Affiliate that provides for various resources accessible to Liferay Subscription customers as further described in Section 2.1 below.
Termination Assistance Services has the meaning set forth in Section 18.12.
Child support services means any civil, criminal or administrative action taken by the Division of
Relocation Assistance Means to provide complete relocation assistance for all eligible displacees. All relocation activities shall be the responsibility of the Consultant. The Consultant acknowledges that all relocation activities shall be done in accordance with Title II of the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act (Uniform Act), Section 163 of the Revised Code and Section 6100, 6200, 6300, 6400, 6500 and 6600 of the ODOT Real Estate Manual. Based on the type of relocation to be performed, the Consultant shall be responsible for all or part of the following: Performing the Pre-Acquisition Survey and completing all RE-95's, if necessary;Determining the Relocation Assistance Additives which include Replacement Housing Additive and Rent Supplement Additive;Determining the Normal Home Site Valuation, if necessary; Determining the economic rent, if necessary;Determining the Increased Mortgage Interest Reimbursement, when necessary; Determining all necessary Incidental Expenses to be reimbursed;Preparing Inventories;Calculating appropriate moving costs; Verifying moves;Performing Decent, Safe and Sanitary inspections;Determining all appropriate move costs for businesses, non-profit organizations, farms and personal property moves;Determining eligibility for Fixed Payments in lieu of actual cost move;Securing all necessary support documentation and preparing all necessary claim forms; Preparing responses to appeals when necessary. The Consultant will submit all replacement Housing Determinations to the Agency for approval before an offer is made to the displacee. The Agency will provide approval or rejection of determinations as soon as possible. The Consultant shall submit all claim forms and supporting documentation to the Agency for approval before any claim form is presented to the displacee.On parcels involving rent supplemental payments, the Consultant shall be responsible for the first payment and subsequent payments that normally occur before the project is certified. Rent supplement payments that occur after the Consultant certifies the project will be the responsibility of the Region. All notes and reports are to be typewritten by the Consultant.
General Assistance means a service in which the End User dialing - 0 asks the OS operator for assistance. The operator will respond in accordance with OS methods and practices that are in effect at the time the End User makes an OS call where available and technically feasible.
Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN means a switched network service that provides end-to-end digital connectivity for the simultaneous transmission of voice and data. Basic Rate Interface-ISDN (BRI-ISDN) provides for a digital transmission of two (2) 64 Kbps bearer channels and one (1) 16 Kbps data channel (2B+D).
Technical Support Services means the technical support and maintenance Services provided by us according to our then-current technical support policy and procedure listed at xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx (“Technical Support Policy”) when the Services are purchased.
Government assistance means a grant, loan, or tax increment financing that result in a financial benefit from an agency, commission, instrumentality, or other entity of the District government.
Employee Assistance Program means an established program capable of providing expert assessment of employee personal concerns; confidential and timely identification services with regard to employee drug abuse; referrals of employees for appropriate diagnosis, treatment, and assistance; and follow-up services for employees who participate in the program or require monitoring after returning to work. If, in addition to the above activities, an employee assistance program provides diagnostic and treatment services, these services shall in all cases be provided by the program.
Provider network means an affiliated group of varied health care providers that is established to provide a continuum of health care services to individuals;
