Credit Quality means the risk that invested assets supporting the reinsured business will decrease in value. The main hazards are that assets will default or that there will be a decrease in earning power. It excludes market value declines due to changes in the interest rate.

  • All Approved Investment, Credit Quality and Concentration guidelines set forth herein shall be applicable only at time of purchase (i.e., trade date).

  • Investment Grade Credit Rating means (a) with respect to Fitch, a credit rating of BBB- or higher, (b) with respect to ▇▇▇▇▇’▇, a credit rating of Baa3 or higher and (c) with respect to S&P, a credit rating of BBB- or higher.
