Contracting Subsidiary definition

Contracting Subsidiary means (i) with respect to a Designated Obligation under a Qualified Contract, the Pemex Subsidiary that is a party to such Qualified Contract and that executes an Assignment Certificate in the form of Annex A-1 relating thereto and (ii) with respect to any other Designated Obligation, the Pemex Subsidiary that has assigned such Designated Obligation to the Trust by executing the related Assignment Certificate in the form of Annex A-2.

Contracting Subsidiary means any direct or indirect subsidiary of Owner that is licensed (or operates under a license in accordance with Laws) created for the purpose of entering into any Construction Contracts and certain other contracts with an Independent Contractor.

Examples of Contracting Subsidiary in a sentence

  • Owner agrees to appoint (or to cause such Contracting Subsidiary to appoint) Licensee as an officer of such Contracting Subsidiary so that (i) Licensee will be a “Responsible Managing Officer” (as defined under applicable California Law) and (ii) such Contracting Subsidiary can, after compliance with all procedures required by Law, lawfully be qualified for and utilize his or her Contracting License to enter into Construction Contracts.

  • In addition, Manager shall have the right to engage one or more Independent Contractors or Contractors on behalf of Owner or a Contracting Subsidiary.

  • In addition, Manager shall have the right to engage one or more Independent Contractors or Contractors on behalf of Owner or a Contracting Subsidiary (subject to the limitations in Section 2.4(n), above).
