Collection sewer definition

Collection sewer means gravity flow pipelines, force mains, effluent supply lines, and appliances appurtenant thereto, used for conducting wastes from building drains to a treatment system or to a ground absorption sewage treatment and disposal system.
Collection sewer means the sewer main and facilities located in the street, avenue, alley or dedicated easement adjacent to the property to be supplied with sewer service and serving such property and others in the immediate vicinity thereof.
