Chargeslip definition

Chargeslip means the receipt, whether physical or electronic, produced by the EDC Terminal on successful completion of a Card Transaction;
Chargeslip means an electronic or paper record of a Transaction generated by the Merchant Establishment using Equipment.
Chargeslip means an electronic or paper record of a Transaction generated on the Premises using Equipment.

Examples of Chargeslip in a sentence

  • The Merchant shall provide to the Customer the copy of the Chargeslip marked as Customer’s copy.

  • The Merchant shall verify the number embossed or printed on the Valid Card with the Valid Card number appearing on the Chargeslip so as to ensure that both are the same.

  • The Merchant shall obtain the Customer’s signature on the Chargeslip and verify so as to match the same with that on the signature panel strip on the reverse of the Valid Card.

  • The Merchant shall, after completion of the primary verification as above, and when the Equipment provided is an EDC machine / terminal, swipe the Card in the Equipment and enter Transaction details as requested (and also allow the Customer to enter the identification number if so required providing the Customer sufficient privacy to do so) so as to obtain Authorisation and generate a Chargeslip.

  • Charges shall have the meaning assigned to such term in Section 9.09.
