Channel bed width definition

Channel bed width means the width of the bankfull channel, although bankfull may not be well defined in some channels. For those streams which are non-alluvial or do not have floodplains, the channel width must be determined using features that do not depend on a floodplain. (WFPA)

  • Common Channel Signaling (CCS) means an out-of-band, packet-switched, signaling network used to transport supervision signals, control signals, and data messages. It is a special network, fully separate from the transmission path of the public switched network. Unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, the CCS protocol used by the Parties shall be SS7.

  • Shift Cycle means the period of time when the shift schedule repeats itself. In those instances where the schedule does not repeat itself, the term "Shift Cycle" shall be understood to mean a period of time not exceeding twelve (12) weeks.
