Only auditable costs shall be reimbursable on Change Orders where the value is determined on the basis of actual cost plus a fixed fee pursuant to paragraph 35A3 above, or where unilaterally determined by the Principal Representative on the basis of an equitable adjustment in accordance with the Procurement Rules, as described above in Article 35A, The Value Of Changed Work.
The final adjustment of the Emergency Field Change Order amount and the adjustment to the Project time for completion shall be prepared on a normal Change Order from (SC-6.31) in accordance with the procedures described in Article 35A, The Value of Changed Work, and B, Detailed Breakdown, above.
Changed Work (all added or deleted Work), as it pertains to the approved Detailed Scope of Work included in a specific Job Order, shall be either changes directed by the County or unforeseen site conditions, which were not evident during the Initial Joint Scope Meeting.
Changed Work shall be performed in accordance with the original Contract requirements except as modified by the Change Order.
The term “Change Order” means a written order directing the Contractor to make changes in the Work, in accordance with Article 35A, The Value of Changed Work.
If Changed Work is of such a nature as to increase or decrease the time or cost of any part of Work, price fixed in Contract shall be increased or decreased by amount as the Contractor and Owner may agree upon as reasonable and proper allowance for increase or decrease in cost of Work using the cost guidelines set forth in this Article, and absent such agreement, then as Owner may direct (with Contractor retaining its rights under Article 12 herein).

Each Change Order, when executed, shall constitute full and final compensation for all matters directly or indirectly related to or arising from the changes to the Work ordered thereby (the "Changed Work"), including, but not limited to, all Overhead and all other direct and indirect costs associated with the Changed Work and any and all adjustments (of whatever nature) to the Contract Sum or to the Contract Period attributable to the Changed Work.
