Chamber means an open, arch-shaped structure providing an open-bottom soil interface with permeable sidewalls used for distribution of effluent in a soil absorption system.
e-commerce means buying or selling of goods or services including digital products over digital or electronic network;
Commerce means as defined in Section 4 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, 15 U.S.C. § 44.
Intrastate commerce means any and all com- merce or trade that is begun, carried on, and completed wholly within the limits of the State of Washington, and the phrase “introduced into intrastate commerce” defines the time and place at which the first sale and delivery of a commodity is made within the state, the delivery being made either directly to the purchaser or to a common carrier for shipment to the purchaser.
Interstate commerce means any commerce moving between any place in a state and any place in another state or between places in the same state through another state;
Uniform Commercial Code jurisdiction means any jurisdiction that has adopted all or substantially all of Article 9 as contained in the 2000 Official Text of the Uniform Commercial Code, as recommended by the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws and the American Law Institute, together with any subsequent amendments or modifications to the Official Text.
Board of Commissioners means a county board of commissioners.
ICC means the International Chamber of Commerce.
European Communities means the European Economic Community, the European Coal and Steel Community and the European Atomic Energy Community.
Website of the European Central Bank means the website of the European Central Bank currently at http://www.ecb.europa.eu or any successor website officially designated by the European Central Bank.
UNCITRAL means the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law; and
Cremation chamber means the enclosed space within which the cremation takes place.
Arbitration Act means the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 and shall include any amendment to or any re-enactment thereof as in force from time to time.
customs authorities means customs authorities as defined in Article 5, point (1), of Regulation (EU) No 952/2013;
customs law means all the statutory provisions applied by the customs administration on the importation, exportation, transit or movement of goods whether or not they involve the collection of duties or taxes (or security thereof), on the enforcement of prohibitions, restrictions or control or exchange control regulations or on any other customs regime;
ICC Rules means the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce in effect on the date the applicable arbitration proceeding begins.
Department of Justice means the Antitrust Division of the United States Department of Justice.
Uniform Commercial Code or “UCC” means the Uniform Commercial Code as the same may from time to time be in effect in the State of New York or the Uniform Commercial Code (or similar code or statute) of another jurisdiction, to the extent it may be required to apply to any item or items of Collateral.
European Data Protection Laws means the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and data protection laws of the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and their member states and the FADP.
ISP98 means the International Standby Practices (1998 Revision, effective January 1, 1999), International Chamber of Commerce Publication No. 590.
Provincial Council means a council established for a non-metropolitan province in terms of section 269 of the Constitution;
fradulent practice means a misrepresentation or omission of facts in order to influence a procurement process or the execution of contract;
Trade or commerce means the conduct of a business for profit or not for profit producing or providing goods, commodities, property, or services and includes, without limitation, advertising, franchising, solicitation, offering for sale, lease, or distribution of a service or property, tangible or intangible, real, personal or mixed, or any other article of commerce.
Ministry of Justice Code means the Ministry of Justice's Code of Practice on the Discharge of the Functions of Public Authorities under Part 1 of the Freedom of Information Xxx 0000 as amended from time to time;
European Community means the territory comprised by the Member States of the European Community as constituted from time to time;
customs procedures means the treatment applied by the customs administration of each Party to goods which are subject to customs control.
