Those staff members who are required to work Commencement Ceremonies outside their normal work hours, will be guaranteed a minimum of three hours work on that day at the appropriate rate of pay (e.g., overtime pay where applicable).
Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies are to be conducted between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
To become eligible to participate in the College Commencement Ceremonies held in May, December, or at such time determined by the Board of Trustees, dual credit students must be enrolled in all final coursework for their declared program and all coursework must be completed at the end of the semester of graduation.

Upon request, a nurse may be permitted to retain up to three (3) days of their regular vacation for the purpose of taking such time off for personal reasons such as Aboriginal Ceremonies, hunting and gathering purposes, or special occasion, as long as adequate notice is given in order to accommodate scheduling.
If cancellation occurs before January 1 of that year and/or only if the Naval Academy cancels the Commissioning Week Ceremonies, all monies will be refunded, with the exception of a $500.00 cancellation fee.
A minimum of 40% of the Ceremony should be in each official language; • Access for athletes with a disability; • The implications that a national level broadcaster can bring to the production – a separate Broadcast Production Committee will be coordinated by the Canada Games Council and will include a representative from the Ceremonies and Protocol division; and • If necessary, the inclusion and meaningful participation of any special groups (e.g. Aboriginals, and/or other groups specific to a community).
